For Business Process and Requirements Analysis, Interim Technical  Management uses a proven methodology that we have been refining for over a decade. This methodology ensures that technical, business and other requirements drive software vendor selection and not the other way around. Software vendor selection also follows a very efficient process that quickly reduces the playing field down to the few best matches, where 90% of the effort is then focused. We script demos so that you, not the vendor, dictate what’s presented. This service includes facilitation of the Decision Discussion, which is as much about how a decision will be made as the strengths and weaknesses of each candidate solution. Deliverables for this phase include  prioritized software requirements, long and short vendor lists, analyses of top vendor candidates, demo scripts, implementation strategy and the facilitated decision discussion.

Implementation Partner Selection

When a solution requires customization, an implementation partner must also be selected. Costing as much as three times the price of the software, this is a key decision. The due diligence for implementation partner Selection is similar to software vendor selection, and results in a statement of work, short implementation partner list, analyses of the top implementation partner candidates and a refined implementation strategy. The choice of implementation partner is typically rolled into the decision discussion. Because of the additional complexity customization brings, a software TCO is highly recommended.
